And Objects is thrilled to partner with The Dot Project to present Vibrations; a vibrant solo exhibition by artist Clare Dudeney. Now on display at our London showroom in Newson's Yard, Pimlico Road, the show runs until Friday, 18th October. Showcasing a new a collection of weavings inspired by silent meditation, where the self is felt through tingling sensations and expressed as vibrating fields of colour.

During this year's London Craft Week, And Objects hosted artisan Simon Collins at our Pimlico Road boutique for a morning dedicated to exploring the intricacies of the ancient art of scagliola - through thoughtful discussions and captivating demonstrations.

And Objects is delighted to announce we are exhibiting a curated selection of artworks at our London shop and showroom on the Pimlico Road. Showcasing both British and international artists, we are thrilled to be working with a diverse selection of talent whose craftsmanship mirrors our authentic approach to design, love for materiality and the finer details, with a dash of the unexpected.

The Ovington Table Lamp is a characterful item that harks back to the fundamentals of the Swedish Grace design movement. Defined by modern design, colourful accents and playful twists, Swedish Grace was often overlooked by the more extroverted Art Deco movement. And yet, for And Objects it has been a lynch pin to our brand ethos and values. 

Unlike our first shoot at Pitzhanger Manor in Ealing, we found settling on the location for our second shoot a little harder. Our goal was to photograph the Modern Heirloom’s collection - with a few new pieces - in a setting as far removed as possible from the previous. Our research took us from an eerie, disused prison on the south coast to geranium-filled glasshouses in the home counties, via contemporary glass buildings on the edge of race tracks, yet we didn’t feel it was quite right.

Ardmore is a thriving artist community creating unique ceramics in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands region of South Africa. The studio was founded by Fée Halsted in 1985 when she moved to a remote farm in the foothills of the Drakensberg Mountains and began teaching local people how to model and paint pottery.

Scagliola is a form of plaster, traditionally gypsum, which imitates decorative stone and has been widely used for the decoration of walls, columns, floors, fireplaces and table tops, and forms the centrepiece to a number of And Objects pieces.
